Mayor Suarez Announces Industry Day, with BitCoin Focus

City of Miami Mayor, Francis Suarez, continues to prove himself to be Twitter’s Mayor with his announcement, via Twitter, of the City of Miami’s Industry Day, focusing on Bitcoin.

In the announcement, Mayor Suarez, welcomes payroll, payment, and other cryptocurrency services providers for informal, 20-minute meetings today and tomorrow, December 7th. While the event is virtual, it does require registration.

Mayor Suarez has been a strong voice in the cryptocurrency market locally over the last year. He’s advocated to have the City of Miami embrace Bitcoin transactions and investment.
