Daniel Leyte-Vidal consults and manages political races throughout the State of Florida on the local, state, and federal levels. Previously, he served as the Manager of Advocacy & Public Policy for Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation, raising over one million dollars from state and local governments for research and direct family assistance.
Daniel served as Deputy District Director for Congressman Carlos Curbelo of Florida’s 26th District. During his time at the House of Representatives, Daniel worked with House and Senate leadership to bring federal funds into the district to support economic development, sustainability, and small businesses.
Daniel takes special pride in his efforts in securing funding for everglades restoration and development of Homestead Station, a Downtown Transit Center serves as the City of Homestead Trolley Hub and connection to Miami-Dade County Transit. Homestead Station is the result of a Public-Private Partnership.
Daniel is passionate about his community and dedicates his free time to it. He currently is the Miami co-chair for MAVPac, helping engage young community leaders in the political process on a federal level. In 2006, after his father’s death, Daniel created a foundation, dedicated to raising money for “La Liga Contra Cancer”, a non-profit assisting low-income people in South Florida who are unable to afford cancer treatments. Daniel has also worked with the Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC) since 2007 helping children who have lost loved ones in a lead facilitator role.
