The podcast, hosted by Michelin Star Chef Michael Beltran, featured special guest Jorge Mas of MasTECH and Inter Miami. Learning from Jorge Mas
Currently serving as chairman at MasTec, an infrastructure engineering and construction company founded by his late father, Jorge Mas Canosa, Jorge speaks of his past, present, and future. He talks about the highs of growing that business into the largest Hispanic-owned company in the United States and the lows of seeing its stock price tank.
He also discusses his business partnership with soccer legend David Beckham. Mas and Beckham played a crucial role in bringing a Major League Soccer franchise to Miami. He, and Beckham, are currently Inter Miami CF's managing owners. Mas shares the significance of bringing the team to South Florida and the challenges of building a new stadium complex.
Mas, Beltran, and their distinguished guests also discussed the transition that Miami is currently undergoing, with a focus on how to hold on to what makes the culture of Miami so iconic.
