Prior to joining the firm, Emilie served as a Legislative Aide under Miami-Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado. As a legislative aide, she supported elected officials by conducting policy research, drafting legislation, assisting with constituent services, and monitoring legislative developments. Her public sector experience provides her with a strong understanding of legislative procedure and local government operations.

Emilie is currently a first-year law student at St. Thomas University College of Law. She is a member of the Cuban American Student Bar Association, where she participates in advocacy and community engagement initiatives.
