Victoria Trujillo is a student at the University of Notre Dame studying Mathematics and Political Science.

She recently completed independent legislative research on the TAKE IT DOWN Act, analyzing its background, policy objectives, and the challenges of implementing federal rules at the intersection of technology and privacy. She is also conducting ongoing policy research on the Cuban Adjustment Act, examining its historical development, legal framework, and implications for residency pathways and immigrant communities. That research pairs with her experience as a legal assistant in Holland & Knight’s Miami office, where she worked with a firm partner to evaluate case logic and argument strategy.

She is an active member of the campus community, serving as a commissioner in Notre Dame Student Government. Off campus, she co-founded and co-led Baskets of Sunshine, a service initiative that collected and donated daily necessities to women at Miami’s Lotus House Women’s Shelter.

Her academic record includes the College of Arts & Letters Dean’s List, National Merit Commended Scholar recognition, and a Miami Herald Silver Knight nomination for general scholarship based on academic performance and community service. She has also received awards for work in mathematics, particularly algebra and geometry, and an honor from Tulane University recognizing well-rounded achievement in math and literature as well as activity beyond the classroom.
